Growth Insights

An automated diagnostic engine that continuously analyzes your site data and surfaces the most impactful improvements you can make — with specific pages, metrics, and recommended actions.


What Are Growth Insights?

Growth Insights automatically scans your analytics data over a rolling 30-day window and generates prioritized recommendations. Instead of digging through dashboards to find problems, Growth Insights brings the problems — and solutions — to you.

Each insight includes a severity level (critical, warning, or info), an impact score (high, medium, or low), the specific pages affected, and a concrete action you can take to improve.

Key Features

Site Health Score

A single 0-100 score that summarizes your site's overall health. Critical issues deduct 15 points, warnings 8, and informational items 3 — giving you an at-a-glance assessment.

Trend Comparison

See whether your health score is improving, declining, or stable compared to the previous 30-day period. Track progress over time as you address recommendations.

Impact Scoring

Each insight is scored by estimated impact (high, medium, low) based on the volume of traffic affected. Focus your efforts where they matter most.

Category Filtering

Filter insights by category — engagement, content, conversion, flow, acquisition, technical, or measurement — to focus on the area that matters most to you right now.

Conversion Proximity

See which pages are closest to a conversion event and which are furthest away. Identify where users drop off just before converting.

Actionable Recommendations

Every insight comes with a specific action and the affected pages listed. No guesswork — just clear next steps.

What Gets Analyzed

Growth Insights examines over 10 dimensions of your site's performance across a 30-day rolling window:

How the Health Score Works

Your site health score starts at 100 and is reduced based on issues found:

  • Critical issues deduct 15 points each (e.g., revenue leaks, extreme bounce rates)
  • Warnings deduct 8 points each (e.g., no goals defined, low mobile traffic)
  • Informational items deduct 3 points each (e.g., no revenue tracking enabled)

The score is clamped between 0 and 100. A score above 80 is Good, 50-80 is Needs Work, and below 50 is Critical.

Using Growth Insights

Growth Insights appears as a dashboard widget. It is enabled by default for new dashboards but can also be added via the widget selector in dashboard edit mode.

  1. Navigate to your site's dashboard
  2. The Growth Insights card shows your health score, trend, and session metrics at a glance
  3. Review the prioritized list of insights sorted by severity
  4. Use category filter tabs to focus on a specific area (e.g., Conversion, Technical)
  5. Expand any insight to see affected pages and the recommended action
  6. Check the Conversion Proximity chart to see which pages are closest to driving conversions

Tips for Getting the Most Value

  • Address critical issues first — they have the largest impact on your health score and site performance
  • Check back weekly — the trend indicator shows whether your changes are working
  • Set up goals — many of the most valuable insights require goal definitions to function (conversion tracking, revenue attribution)
  • Use UTM tags — enable campaign attribution to unlock acquisition insights
